    Weird piston wash?

I am confused with the wash on the pto piston. It's a 96 seadoo xp. Fuel lines have been replaced and carbs cleaned before I purchased the ski.
The mag is very rich but the pto is confusing. It looks like I can see the wash pattern but instead of there being shiny piston head it is a light brown. I can see the regular carbon buildup pattern on the piston.
The ski is premix with pump gas 93 and amsoil interceptor at 50:1. Compression is good at 150 each. No mods to ski. Plugs for both look rich and wet.
Thanks! I'll put up pics of the plugs when I get home. I forgot to get them.
