All depends on how bad the cavitation is?

In my opinion, it seems lots of cavitation. Are the foam inserts installed between the shoe and the hull? I had a look around the intake grate and I'm not seeing any obvious open areas.

The holes these fill you won't be able to see until you take the intake grate off. I don't think they will make any noticeable difference on your ski. I would check the impeller and make sure it is not worn. What may seem like cavitation may not actually be cavitation.

Pull the grate off and look into pump. Look at the impeller(blade tips)to wear ring clearance. I can't remember the exact clearance is. If you could slide a business or two past the blade tips, you have an issue. While playing peeping tom check the overall appearance of the impeller. Nicks or bends? Replace it.
