    Clipping Spark plug wires?

Hey, I see mentioned often to "clip the spark plug wires". Can I get a quick how to on this? Is it to pull of the spark plug boot off and cut a short section of the end of the wire then reattach the boot? Is this to eliminate any high resistance at the end of the wire. I have never done this on any of my skis. Thanks

unscrew the plug boots counterclockwise then clip the plug wires back 1/4" or till you see copper then screw back on till tight. its actually due to corrosion with the age of most these skis. you may also want to replace your main leads especially the ground wire.

Where can you get the ground wire replacement? They don't look to be available from the OEM parts I have looked at.

anywhere really...AutoZone, Napa. Its just a regular battery lead. you just have to put your own ends on it and solder them on. at least that is what I did. then heat shrink wrap them
