05 rxp pump rebuild
i am attempting to rebuild my jet pump. it has a little play in it side to side. I changed props on it a few times and the oil in it is milky. Is this something a normal person can do. i have did a few things to my ski with success. I checked my slip a few weeks ago on my sc and found out the hard way..there is 40 pins under the gear...boy finding all 40 and then getting them back in was fun ..once they hit the floor. Anyway back to the pump. It looks like i will need a press to get the shaft and bearings out. where is a good to get the rebuild kit also? i was looking at the parts list..man there seemd to be a bumch of parts to buy. what are the normal parts you replace and what are the ones i might not need if it is getting water into the cone area.

Man I hope you got all those pins spotless clean before you put it all back together (with some fresh oil / grease).
Other wise I see bad things in your skis future.
Your best Bet is buying from Jerrys store here or his OEM parts store.

Get oem seadoo pump bearing and if you get the pump tools you can do it without a press. Big hammer and freezer and your golden. Did mine about 40hr ago

i was wondering if the kit from sbt was a good one. its 85 but has all the parts in it. It is expensive to buy each part form the oem sites.
