Carb tuning on a Sl650 with reeds and premix.
I have a 93 Polaris SL650 with a 94 Engine, Exhaust, and made my own cooling lines. The engine has the oil pump block off and is now running 32:1 premix for the first 2 gallons, then i would like to run 40:1? Ski also has v force delta reeds in it with new triple fuel pump and new lines.. When i try and start it up it takes a second to start when i do use the primer bulb once it starts it doesn't run for more then a few seconds unless i spray starting fluid in it to keep it running then it runs great. Who has used this setup and tuned there ski? i need somewhere to start as i only know dirt bikes and have never dealt much with fuel screws just jets and needles. Someone help before its colder!

Check your carb settings. The should be Mag 7/8 Cen 3/8 PTO 5/8. Low speed screws at 1/4. Did you rebuild the carbs?
