Correcting Ultra 150 top end bounce

Does anyone know how to make the ultra 150 stop bouncing at top speed? It seems like mine is doing it worse than it did in the past but I am not sure why. Could the ride plate sealing affect this? Any help you have to offer would be great.

What's your set up? Where are you riding? I know mine bounced with the stock intake grate..

Never had a problem with mine. I even did a trim mod to mine giving a LOT more up trim and it doesn't porpoise on smooth water.

It is 100% stock and i am riding on calm water in a lake. I had to trim it down one noth to stop it from bouncing. I weigh 205 and it still bounced with me on the front of the ski.

I don't know. Mine is stock, except for the trim, and I weigh 210. Perfectly smooth whether the gas tank is full or empty.

Mine bounced a bit when trimmed all the way up, but Shredmaster ride plate took care of that.

This is an odd one, never had issue with porpoising on my ultra either at speed on smooth water.

Check your plate and grate first, make sure everything is tight.
Now there are 3 bolts above the pump on a plate, make sure they are tight.
Are the 2 Allen screws securing the plate to the pump installed?

I will check when I am back at the lake. I know that I am having a problem with cavitation as well. I am planning to reseal the pump.

Those two allen screws do nothing.. when you upgrade to a shred master they aren't used. Is it bouncing or porpoising??

Those 3 bolts above the pump hold the back mat on, don't really see any reason those would cause any issue

Those 3 bolts also bond the top deck to the hull above the pump to prevent flex in that area. There is a lot of stress on the pump tunnel area, They help reinforce it. It was an idea that he may have had some transom flex due to those being loose. Any suggestion in odd cases is better than nothing. I'm running stock grate and plate on a 1350 BB machine that runs just under 70 mph, and it does not porpoise or bounce on smooth water at speed. So if he is, something is not right. I know guys with triples, running faster than me (I'm set up for acceleration not top speed),no issue.
