    Ride plates are in

I got a shipment of ride plates Friday. I'm having a hard time finding boxes to ship them in. I went out Friday afternoon looking for boxes and got rear ended while sitting at a traffic light !! Bent the hitch, trunk won't close, bumper ruined etc etc. Some old snow bird who said his garage door opener got stuck under the brake pedal and prevented him from stopping. He rams me and then a few seconds later rams me again !! At least there were no injuries. Thank God I was in a car and not on a bike.

I'll try and send the plates out as soon as possible.

    Rich

I've had two motorcycle accidents in my lifetime (not counting dirt bikes). So I guess the next one on my modified Kawasaki Maen Streak will be my last! Well, God be with me!! Going on 3 years now.... knock on wood. (and prayers)!

Looks like I'm going to need a ride plate and a wedge to make my ski even come close to the 70mph that it says it will do. After 4.5 hours of break in and with one square of fuel blinking I decided to open her up.

Smooth as glass and 76 degrees the top speed was 60!
Out in the bay with some chop..... top speed..... 60!

    WHAT GIVES?!?!?!?

My factory speed o reads like 58 to 60 all the time, Get a gps youll feel better, or you can lower the speed o wheel and make it go as fast as you want.

    Richard,

Glad to hear you are alright and were not trying to ride your bike while carring all those ride plates. LOL

Now I wish I had ordered a ride plate. RATS. Who has a spare I can borrow??? Or does someone want to sell one after they get their Group k plate back???
