Mod my gp1200 or get a new waverunner

Hi, I always thought I wanted either a newer fxho or a fzs to me my next ride, but yesterday I got a chance to ride both and now I'm not sure. For starters I know they are 3 completely different machines. I am almost always going to be riding on inland lakes in Michigan and the thing I really like about my gp1200 is the way it jumps easy and the light agile feeling. I did like the fxho a lot when just cruising but it gave up way to much of the "playfull" feeling. The fzs was crazy fast out of the hole and faster everywhere then my gp but gave up a lot of the jumping on small waves. I also didn't care for the prices lol but if I can find what I want I can deal with the prices.

What I really want to know is if there is a 4 stroke pwc that will jump nice and have more power then my gp? I don't like the extra weight of all the newer ones but I can give up some of the jumping for smother cruising but don't want to give it all up.

My honest opinion is 2 strokes are dead. Gas n go with gobs of power with a 4 stroke

What 4 stroke will jump the best on small lakes? I like the idea of 4 strokes just missed the jumping on the 2 I tried.

I don't really know exactly what your looking for. But my vxr jumps waves nice. It gets up into the air if that's what you are looking for.

Well, I'm probably looking for something that don't exist lol. I'm looking for a 4 stroke that will still jump similar to my gp. I know all the 4 strokes are more weight but with the increased power I was hoping they would be similar.

The vx doesn't have trim does it? I really love the trim on my gp and I did notice the trip don't do as much on the heavier machine but would still like it

How does the vxr ride and handling compare to the fx? The fx was to smooth for my taste

That would be a great option, however I like riding them more then working on them lol

The vxr does not have a trim. The vxr is a very smooth ride when in calmer water. It gets a little rough when the water gets more choppy. But that's something you have to sacrifice if you want something that can jump waves instead of just cutting through them.

Just put a SHO engine in your GPR.
