    RXT 215 - Compression - Need Help

Hey Guys, what compression should i be getting from an RXT?

I flooded out my ski last week and went through a good cleaning and all is fine, or looks fine. I ran a compression test and my cylinder 1 is @ 125, Cylinder 2 and 3 are at 140. Is this ok? Any suggestion or feedback is much appreciated.

My ski has 84 hours on it for anyones reference. Also i noticed that my spark plug on that cylinder is dark and has a little oil moisture on it

Did you try cranking it when there was water in it? I would be concerned about a bent rod from being hydrolocked.

it was cranked but didnt run with the water in it. There is no knocking noise and idles correctly, typically if you bend a rod the ski will clank and make loud noises.

    Not always.
If you cranked it with the plugs in there is a chance you hydro locked it.
That's how you slightly bend a rod.
If you did it will come thru your block in the next 10 hrs.
    Your compression #s are ok.
Not great on that 1 cylinder but ok..
All guages read different amounts of psi.
Great would have been even in all cylinders.

If you cranked it with water in the engine you may have bent a rod.
Ask around several people here have done it.

I just checked my compression on 05'RXT with 171hrs. Cyl#1- 130 #2-125 #3-125. My ski runs very well. If you really wanted to you could put a dial indicator down the cylinder, zero out on TDC, and compare each cylinder. If one cylinder is comming up short you have a bent rod. Good luck
