    300X holeshot cavitation

I'm getting bad cavitation from the holeshot...feels like a slipping clutch when i take off. Lost about 10 MPH top speed also.

Impeller doesnt look bent to me but how does this gap look to you guys?

That depends on how bad the housing is damaged. Usually you can get by with just a new impeller tho.

Send the pump off to a prop rebuilder and get the prop edges rebuilt to match the outer housing the lessor the clearance the better here downunder it costs less than $100

While you have it off look at the veins on the back side. They have like a bend to them I'm not really sure how to explain it but I've replaced them 3x now and I don't go close to shore at all just where I ride. Just look at where the flow of water would hit. Will be easier too see after the prop is removed

Looking at those pics reminds me of some old sayings about some girls at my high school "throwing a hot dog down a hallway" or "giving a whale a tic tac"

Nicjak I'm not saying that I'm not, however, I ride with the same group, ride the same areas, and never go close to the beach so I know it's not too shallow. I'm only person that has an issue. We just added another 300x to my group so I'm interested to see how he holds up. I think it's just from one river I ride that just eats they up real fast. Either way, doesn't hurt to check it since it's already apart.
