    RXT Piranha A kit

Hi everyone. I live in Australia and have just ordered a Piranha power kit. should be ready real soon. At moment my 2006 RXT is stock. I am wondering if there is anything else i need to do once i put this kit on. kit has the les cooke A impeller, intercooler, exhaust, hard washers and opas block offs. i have heard rumours that i will need to upgrade injectors.

I have limited money left to spend, but thinking of getting some riva/worx sponsons. Any suggestions...........

I wouldn`t get the sponsons for an RXT. 2 degree wedge and Riva grate if not already done.

If it does not come with it, upgrade the air intake...

I agree with Danny...a 4" intake will help. Since u have limited funds, do a search & you can make your own like alot of guys have done. Fill those ride plate holes as well

I have heard mixed reports on the wedge. So is the general theory that it is good? Also why not get the sponsons? do they not make much difference?

The air intake is something i hadn't really thought about but would make sense. i think les cooke make an 4' adapter. If i do this will i need the bigger injectors then?

    A-Kit

Consider ceramic bearings while you are in there. I have the A-Kit impeller & was informed larger injectors are not necessary.

IMO - If you run a 10 lb s/c impellor;an intercooler and a 4" air intake, you should move to the 42 lb injectors. I do know of some people who have run without the injectors and have run a little faster up top. Problem is your air/fuel. I think they were lean and risking their motors. Unless you are prepared to buy the a/f gauge and have the a/f bung welded into your exhaust to check your a/f reading, I would suggest you go with the 42's.

Im guessing you're getting a new prop for it too? Definately needed.
