Beaten by a STOCK 3 seater...

I was at Possum Kingdom this weekend with family, and the water was too rough for my little cousins, so they chose to pull over and swim on Sandy Beach. I rode around, found a cove for some speed runs and found I'm still on the limiter and need more pitch... oh well. Nearly ran over 3 girls that cut in front of me... after unpuckering from the seat I left the cove and rode around looking at the rocks and stumps exposed from the low water level (@11ft down). I rode around and was found by a young guy on a new sea doo 3 seater. He wouldn't run me in a cove, so we took off down the middle of the lake in the rough. I could NOT pass him. He gave me the "that's all ya got?" wave and started walking away from me... still happily sitting on his comfy seat, enjoying my frustration. I'm standing, cussing, massaging the throttle, trimming up/down, leaning forward/backward, working it like a bike to try to keep it hooked. I officially apologize to my rev limiter, even at half throttle --ouch. Well, I jumped in behind him in the smoother water, followed him until I spotted a couple hundred yards of smooth water. His expression changed quickly, but still--a STOCK 3seater in the rough stays hooked like a fish. It's crazy. My question: How do the 2008-2009 RXT/TX hulls compare to the newer 3 seater hulls? I ask as I'm looking to buy one.

That's what I'm thinkin'. Hell, I have enough parts sitting on the shelf to build a somewhat quick 3seater.
Next year, we need to find sponsors for the Thunder in the Canyon race and go put on a show. Whadaya say?
I wasn't paying 3-400 dollars for a few passes in front of spectators. That's crazy...

Lol I'm keeping my rxp for its brute acceleration and speed, but want a 3 seater for the big chop (and yes, for situations like that). I've been trying to get my uncle to race an offshore endurance race with me, but he doesn't want to. We've raced off road for years, so it's pretty easy on the water, but he still is hesitant.
Getting pulled by a stocker solidified my choice--there's NO way I'd try mine offshore. It would be hilarious. REV LIMIT..............hook--REV LIMIT................hook--REV LIMIT.......................hook. hahahahahaa

So you're not up for the Thunder drag races next year? I think it would be fun. I'm only running low 80's at the moment, so you'd get me right now, but next year.... I may have something for ya. ...if it'll stay together.

2010 RXT-X was the first S3 hull. The S3 hull is far superiormtomthe older hulls in every way, period!
