Whats the best way to remove decals from the hull? Heat gun, adhesive removers. Anybody have a easy method you could share, with out damaging the surface

I use a heat gun and then follow up with some "Goof Off" adhesive remover.

i used a hair dyer to get it off in one piece.... then i used WD-40 to get all the glue and residue off... then wax.

Yep same here seems to be the way to go. Now instead of seeing seadoo on the side of the hull i get to see my stress cracks in the gelcoat. yay

Hair dryer worked well for me. Once and awhile I would get a rip and have to retry, but it seemed to work pretty well

I thought stress cracks would be taken care of with warranty?

i may pursue it this winter under warranty... i'll see what happens.
Maybe i'll have em true the hull while they repair it

I just looked at my hull yesterday, and found stress cracks everywhere underneath, and even up in the yellow right in front of the hood. I wonder how long they have been there, and never noticed them. Let me know if anyone gets this covered under BEST warranty.
