Yong Wang in Sweden; Max HP on China copy of the Polaris virage 700 twin?

    Hi.

Does anyone knows how much HP you can put out of a 700 twin engine? How strong is the crank and the connecting rods? Im talking about the Domestic engine from 2004 witch originally has 95 HP.

Are you asking how much additional power a well tuned and tweaked two cylinder Polaris engine can produce?

    Well yes
But allso if anyone knows when the crank and rods are giving up due to to much power.
Lets say i put a turbo on it. Not that i will, but how much HP can you get before jou bend the rods and twist the crank?

Well, the three cylinder 1165cc Matrix+ conversions were rated at something around 220 HP. Essentially the same crank and connecting rod sizes as the two cylinder domestic engines.

Roughly 75HP per cylinder, so maybe 150HP for the domestic twin engine.

See the engines that Richie (GH member Stroker 1450) has put together for more info.

matrix was 200 hp.probably around 150 hp for a 700 maxed out with a set of the race pipes and 200lbs compression.longevity would be thrown out the window and would probably have to have the crank welded as well

    Ok. That's great
Then 120-130 wouldn't be too much.
    Thanks for the answers

not sure how easy 120 on pump gas is gonna be.i figure around 7400 rpm.the torque isn't gonna be what the triples have either.

Here in Sweden the lowest octane we have is 95 and the highest is 99. So it's not impossible
Of course it will never be like the triple. But that's not what I'm going for. Just need to win over my 2 friends with the same PWC

I already have all that but Reeds. I have only replaced the original reeds with Boysen reed valves. Not the whole cage. Do they really make a big difference? And if, which Reeds is the best? Ive seen that boysen have a two stage reed rage cage. But thats 250$. Is it really worth it?
I also have a programmable cdi ignition system, and shaved heads.
