01 Virage TX 1200 Display and Start/Stop/Bilge switch stopped working

My 01 Virage 1200 TX that the display is not working. It was put on another machine and it worked.

Also the Start/Stop/Bilge switch is not working. Will not go into reverse or stop the engine. The pull cord switch still works and the machine runs, but the others do not.

Any suggestions on where to start.

Electrical box. Check wiring and fuses inside.

See my signature links for more useful info.

Replaced the fuse for the MFD and it now works. The bilge pump does work, but the stop switch does not turn off the machine after I get it running. The forward and reverse button still do work. To clarify this a little. I recently had work done on the machine and after I got it back they did not work. To start the machine I have to hit the start button and then put the lanyard on. The only way to stop the machine is pull the lanyard.

Clarify how you are starting the engine.
You press and hold the Start button while inserting the lanyard?

It sounds like the LR-505 module has failed or someone has mis-wired it inside the electrical box.

Search for LR-505 in my post titles to find the bypass method for testing.

You are correct, to start it you have to push and hold the start button, then insert the lanyard. Then you can release the button after its running.

    Interesting.

Do the LR bypass. I suspect your module has gone bad.
