    2013 GTX 155 battery removal

Just picked up a new GTX and was poking around to see how to remove the battery. I cannot believe the stuff attached to it. Will someone post some instructions/pictures whatever on what & how to remove it.

    Thanks

The plastic piece that has the fuses attached to it needs to get popped off....

It will sound like it is breaking, just keep pushing with a few fingers away from the battery. Then remove the 13mm bolts at the base of the battery

I put my battery back in this spring from when the dealer took it out last fall and it took a long time but I didnt know the fuses pooped off,so if I keep my battery tender hooked up all winter is there a reason the battery needs to come out of the ski? I have owned a lot of motorcycles and I never took the battery out of any of them, just hooked the tender up and left it in the bike.I dont see why it has to come out of the ski if the tender is hooked up.

It is suggested the battery is out of the ski while charging/tending to remove the risk of sparks in the hull. This is common for all skis I would guess. I believe the manual goes over this also.
