Riva Steering System install - Renthal bars with stock controls

The Riva instructions pretty much just end and say reinstall controls. There is no mention of how. The controls have a locating pin where the stock bars have a hole. Obviously, the new bars do not have this hole. Are you supposed to drill the bars or just grind down the pin?

Measure hole location off stock bars and drill. That will make sure controls don't spin on bars.

    I would drill the hole.

use something to make a indentation on the bar and drill with a small drill bit to start the hole, if you need to move it a little using the smaller bit will allow for easier repositioning. you can use a small allen wrench in in the hole for mocking up, then you can open it up to however big it needs to be.
