Update on Riva Gen 3 IC

I had Jerry remove my previous thread as it was a bit misleading. I jumped the gun on this one thinking that I had a second blown cooler, but it appears to be fine. With the cooler removed I did two tests on the core, and both of them passed. At this point all I can assume is that this cooler condensates...... and condensates a lot! Last time out the ski had a slight surge at wot like one would do with a leaking core, and when tested in the ski it was blowing water... quite a bit. Due to my experience with the first cooler..... I've been keeping a close eye on this one. So for now, I'm gonna toss it back in..... and keep my fingers crossed

That was a tremendous amount of water coming out of the discharge side.

That was running on a hose after a ride correct?

Just curious because I really want a gen III but not if there are a bunch of bad cores out there.

Running too cold is not a good thing.. So the Gen 3 is too good.. LOL

I don't know, I would stick with something else if that's the condensation that builds up in there.. That will slowly kill a motor

I agree..... and that's exactly why I figured i blew the second one. I tested the core at 60 psi for 30 minutes.... and not a single drip, or bubble. I found it to hard to believe..... so I tested it again today

Yes.... both videos were running on the flush hose with nothing pinched off. The first cooler was definitely blown though. This one must have just blown out all the condensation.

I have one also that I currently do not have in my ski, but I guess if I put it in, it would need some sort of restriction in the water routing?

For those who may not have seen the video..... this is apparently all condensation in the core after a ride.
