    Riva top loader repairable?

Been having issues keeping the inserts in the pump shoe. One pulled out and then the middle intake bolt pulled through. I tried the girdle fix but that came out and is at the bottom of the lake. Is the middle bolt hole repairable or should I get a new one? I'm going to epoxy in the one insert that pulled out bu not sure what to do with the middle one...

There was a post a few years ago about welding up that center hole and then drilling the hole. Also you could drill and tap the hole in the rideplate hole to a larger size. I believe it was Snoman that posted the mod, but could be wrong there.

ETA- Here is a link where some were repairing the Riva grate.

Contact Riva. If the intake grate isn't modified. I don't see why they wouldn't stand by their product and swapnit for you. I was able to swap mine once for the same reason.
