    Piston Identification

Looking for some help from the forum guru's. I picked up an 08 RXP 215 with some motor issues. When I pulled the head off I was thrown for a loop. The pistons were a flat top piston 1 size over. This is supposedly a rebuilt motor from seadoo. Every supercharged seadoo piston I have seen is a cupped piston to lower compression. Have any of you guru's seen a flat top piston from seadoo in a supercharged application? Thanks in advance. Click image for larger version.

BRP does not make any high comp forged pistons and I don't think any oversized
    but CP does

Wrong pistons in application..... Or a 185 HP N/A bottom end was put in the boat to sell it...

turns out seadoo sent a NA motor to the dealer when they ordered a reman motor. the funny thing is that it was run like this in a rxp 215 machine for 2 years before it finally failed a piston. I bet she was zippy with the higher compression piston. lol

The only motor that uses those pistons are the 155-130 hp. 185, 215, 255 all use the same compression with the dish, and the 185's are cast.

    And that's a 100% oem seadoo piston
