Set you ring end gap up correctly before installing the rings onto the pistons and after you or your machinist has checked the bore is good / cross hatch pattern etc.

CP Rings - Writing facing upwards to the top of the piston. The writing on the rings is pretty small, but its there.

Oil scraper rings at the bottom of the piston, put the zig zag one on first then the other two thin ones top and bottom of the zig zag one.

The top two rings will only go on one way as they are different thicknesses. You will see this in the groove they fit into on the piston.

When looking down from the top of the piston, the ring end gaps want to be 120 degrees away from each other. Make sure all rings move freely and can rotate.

Use lots of lube and a good ring compressor when installing them into the bores.
