    P-1202 Code

I have a 04 speedster 200 with twin 155 engines and have a engine light that keeps coming on my port engine, if I remove the dess key it goes off for a while then comes back. Here are my CanDoo findings: Port engine that had the check engine light had code p1202- Oil tank pressure switch implausible OR blow-by valve closed. This occurred 34 times. I then figured I would check the starboard engine just for kicks and found it had the same listed code but only occurred 14 times and never had a light on that engine come in. Attached are pics from the fault code, sorry bad glare outside.

I also went to the engine min and max readings as follows: Im concerned with the engine and exhaust temps on both although no temp light ever came on.

    Starboard
    intake pressure 2.9-15.81
    engine temp 46.4-134.6
    exhaust temp 44.6- 284
    engine temp 42.8-217.4

Port (engine with check engine light)
    2.76-15.66
    46.4-136.4
    44.6-246.2
    44.6-244.4

I did some searching and calling around and was told there are 2 oil pressure switches- one on the block and one by the oil fill. How Do I know which one needs replacing? Also how do you test the T.O.P.S. Valve to see if its working. I read to listen for a "click" but when should I be hearing it? Doesnt look like we are going to the lake this weekend

You can activate the TOPS with your CanDoo, my rxt was acting up (going into limp mode) and found that the tops connection had a small amount of corrosion on it. When you activate it you will hear it "click"

Thanks, I will take a look again. Too dam hot now 103* and no wind . Do you know where on the program I would go? Its all new to me but learning fast.

Any thoughts in the variations on the engine and exhaust temps? I would think they would both be closer than that.

The TOPS valve clicked. It must be a bad switch. Now which one do I get, the top or the bottom one as well?
