A really good battery charger/maintainer for our Seadoos
I got a good buddy that has been in the commercial/industrial battery business for the last 25 years.
We got to talking about the newer smart chargers available. He got to telling me about a Swedish made charger that he has been testing and using for several months now.
I got the 3300 which was the mid range one, for $78 shipped. What I really like about the unit is that is constantly tests the battery and will not over charge it. Go ahead and keep the charger on your battery all winter long. This particular unit is large enough to handle car batteries as well (Longer recharge cycle obviously)
He sells $10 mill in industrial batteries and has a small consumer side as well. In his testing, this charger beats them all.......He was able to wake up batteries that would not take a charge in a few other chargers he was testing at the time.
On the ctek site, there are some US dealers. I bought mine online for $78 shipped
Might be useful info if you are looking for a charger..........

That charger is for "lead acid" batteries..as per the site info. Most replacement batteries are either gel or mat type. I trust my Battery Tender Plus. It also shuts off when the battery has reached its max voltage and will never overcharge a battery. It can be left on when the ski is not in use. Some say the Battery Tender may have a problem with Odyssey batteries, but I have not experienced one. The Battery Tender plus also costs less than this one does.

It handles any type battery, and has a desulfication process that the tender does not have.
To each his own I guess
From the web page:
FEATURES & BENEFITS
• Three step, fully automatic switch mode model.
• Charges lead-acid batteries (Wet, MF, Gel and AGM) from 2Ah to 90Ah.

My mistake....I didn't read far enough. I was thinking that lead acid batteries were the wet type only.
