    water skiing question

    hi guys,

    i have a question about pulling a water skiier with my polaris...ok, i have 2002 virage, stock 700 cc engine.would that have enough ass to pull a 250 pound skiier out of the water.just want to know before i waste my cash on skis i can't use. thanks for any help.

    It might be a little rough getting up...if the skiier is experienced they should be able to get themsleves up, if not, it could be a very long day. Once up it should be alright...but you will feel the drag while driving.

    We used to do it BUT it sucked!! The beginers took a beating and the biggers guys drank waaaayyyy to much water. I would suggest saving yourself the headache and go for the big cc's numbers with some monster torque. I think the 1050's and 1200's pulls skiers and tubes MUCH better than the 700 twin.

    it would mostly be regular sking...is slalom easier to pull out of the water or harder...thanks guys

    Slalom is much tougher on the equipment, a decent guy on a slalom ski can pull a PWC right around. Both riders would be in for quite a feel.
