    Pulling wakeboard

I'm out at lake Somerville trying to pull a wakeboard and my fzs just goes into like a limp mode and won't go over 3000 rpm? It drives fine when I'm not towing somebody. And suggestions???? Traction control ??

I tow fine on 2013 SHO, so find it curious...

Is the bow pointing high as you try to pull them out? Any kind of low oil switch being triggered?... low fuel level??

    Can't think of anything else...

When you say lubrication… What should I lube? Should I lube up these reverse lever sensors? Do you think this reverse sensor maybe going out??Click image for larger version.

I just now started it again and it was stuck in limp mode again ...had to disengage and reengage the reverse lever several times......then it finally came out of limp mode/traction control...whatever the hell they call it. Should I take in in and have them replace this reverse sensor or just spray some lube on it?

Spray it first as thats probably what they will do. If it continues, then take it in.

I haven't looked close at mine. To me it looks like a magnetic reed switch. If so it should be able to be "tricked" with another magnet. For "testing" purpose only. Unbolt and stick a magnet on the switch.

That's what it looks like to me as well…looks like what they use for security system's on the windows of houses. Do these commonly go out???? To me they should be a really reliable sensor… since they use them for security purposes. Hope Brinks doesn't use them lol
