    Changing to premix question

Do I need to worry about the pure gas that's still in the lines? I'm just wondering if it is enough to do damage on the start up before the premix reaches it.

A good rule of thumb is to premix first then run the ski and then delete the oil pump. But if you do delete the pump first you can push each piston down and pour a small amount of oil in each plug hole so the crank gets oil till the premixed gas gets there.

Fresh top end? Don't you want to check out the carbs? It is a good time to do that, not to mention by doing that the fresh gas will be replace with remixed. No worry.

Since its a fresh top end it will be easy to lube the crank. And yes we ride guntersville lake often it's a great place to ride.

Pull the fuel return line off the tank and plug a syringe into it. Use the the syringe to suck fuel through the lines until you see the fuel change
the color of the premix. Now the carbs have fresh premix.
