    Repitched my own Stock Impeller.....WOW

I have been on my quest to hit 80mph with stock boost since I bought it. I have just enjoyed doing something different to it every week to see the gains that each mod gave me. My last time out with the mods in my sig I went 77.2 mph turning 8300 rpms. So I bought a Prop Pitch Gauge from Prostocker and did all my research on bending the prop. It was a lil' scary at first bending the fins on my stock impeller. The stock prop measured out to be about a 12/20 or 12/19. It was kind of in between. I was wanting to turn it up to about 8600 rpms so I cranked it down to a 12/17.
    The difference..... WOW!
As soon as I took it out I could feel a difference. The mid range was nuts. It picked up a ton of acceleration. Now of course it cavitates from a dead stop but I hardly ever hit mine from a stop anyways so that wasn't what I was trying to accomplish. I was more concerned with mid and top end. Now from 20 mph the ski will jump completely out of the water when you hit it.
Now I'm turning 8600-8700 rpms and went a best of 79.4 MPH!!!!
Thanks to Prostocker for the gauge.
My ski is way more fun to ride and faster with just a lil' time and a $50 part!!!!!!!

good speed what temp did you do this in ? keep in mind that the stock prop when bent down is faster than most aftermarket props so if you chose to go that route keep in mind that you will likely drop speed.on the limiter with the stock prop i went to a dynafly it got me off the limiter and i only picked up half a mile.then going to a 13/25 skat i dropped 2mph but the holeshot was unreal.keep up the good work!

If u r running a stock exit nozzle try having it bored to a 85mm instead of the 83 from factory. Could possibly get it over 80

Yes more then likely but could also be just that lil bit extra you need? U could go one pitch taller on the trailing and then open the nozzle up a lil bit a fzr runs better with a 85 mm nozzle all around anyways
