    Polaris Pride

I bought this Virage way back in 2001 new from the Polaris dealer for $7200.00 out the door. She has passed the 450 hour mark the only thing I have done to it was rebuilt the carb and put a new wear ring in the pump. Everything else except the battery of course is from the factory I just wanted to share this with you guys little bullet proof 700. Its been on countless rides never has left me stranded not the fastest ski but you will get there.

    Well done

This is riding in salt water too!

Around here we mostly hear about the broken, abused, hurt and previously ignored machines. So nice to hear about one that illustrates the other end of the spectrum!

It also shows how difficult it is to provide a general answer to the question of how long an engine will last between rebuilds, or how hard salt water can be on a machine.

Nice looking ride! 450 hours and no major rebuild, that is amazing, I would take a pic of the MFD showing 450 hours and use that for my avatar.

    Nice Ride

Nice! I love the 701CC engine so far. No plug fouling after long (2 mile) idle zones. Smooth ride. I think mine has about 160 hours total. The original owner had only put 12.5 hours in the last 4 years, I have put about 50 hours on it this season.
I can do without a 1200CC for the additional 10mph. My fuel consumption is not a factor with this ski.
I'm happy with mine as well!Click image for larger version.

I didn't get to see John's 700 but I saw his TX in person and she is spotless.

I can get 2 or 3 rides on a tank when we go on a long ride everybody else brings extra gas.
