i have a05 rxp, if that matters. i am in the process of ordering a pump offline. i have no idea what size to get. i have heavy rust on my drive shaft that was negelected by the previous owner. i have learned one thing dont buy a ski with rust in the engine compartment.ITS NOT WHAT YOU SEE THATS GOIN TO GET OR SINK YOU! Anyways back to the question. i dont get any water in my hull when riding and i know you are going to say replace carbon seal assembly with drive shaft. i just had to order jet pump, i am tired of buying crap for this ski. What is a good brand and is there any that can pretty much get rid of gushing water as it comes in..

Whale SS5212 - 650 GPH automatic. Uses solid-state switching. You can wire it to your battery (through a fuse), so you don't have to have your ign on to make it work.
The Rule pumps that are in the Sea-Doo kit periodically check for water, so if you have it wired direct to your battery you'll have to include a power switch for when you're not using it.

i bought a 50 gph seaflo. it uses a auto float switch. i am sure it will do fine. I have heard guys on here say 2 things have to be done with a Seadoo change ceramic washers and install a bilge pump. I can say i have done both now.

I got this one from this guy on Ebay super cheap and he delivers very fast for free. It had everything I needed for the install except for some more wire to reach the battery. Only drawback is it's not an automatic but for the price I couldn't pass it up.
Check it out. Link

The Sea-Doo pump I bought for my 2013 RXT-X aS 260 does not periodically check for water. It runs constantly whenever the craft's electronics are powered on.
