Whats the truth about new FX hull
Seen bits and peices about the new FX hulls not as stable at a idle as the older ones ?? is this true ? i ask because im trading the wifes 2010 FXCRUISER on a 2013 FXHO and would rather warn her if there is any truth to this. Cheers

Robert, I can only speak on behalf of the newer FX hulls, but mine is stable as a rock. Either at rest or at idle speed manuvering through no wake zones w/ my wife and ice chest on back.

Not true at all... I have about 85 hours on my 2012 FX HO and not once have I felt that I was going to tip over at idle, even in rough spots on Lake Lanier.... I also have a 2008 FX with about 300 hours so I have something to compare to.... cheers... I love the new hull...

Agree with all comments so far. I have a 12 fx sho and have about 60 hours in all conditions and it is awesome to ride. I can also stand in one footwell and not come close to tipping over. In fact I can't even get water to fill the well if its calm water. You and your wife will be extremely happy with it. I also have FZR's that I thought were pretty stable but this thing is like riding a Cadillac. Very good in all water conditions and one of the best I've ridden in rough water. Go for it!!

my waveraider wants to tip over just sitting there, lol. I've yet to ride one of these modern stable crafts.

I have a 2013. The only time I managed to flip it was during a storm in the Bahamas. I weigh 280 and I can stand on one side and it leans but it doesn't go over.

Having come from a GP1300r, it is just ridiculous how stable these new FX hulls are. They are really in their element in open waters, or with a passenger.
The only thing you will regret about not getting a 2012+ FX, is having not bought it sooner.

I have a 2013 FXHO and never once has it tried to flip on me, and i love to tear it up. I stand on the sides at the dock and it holds my 200lbs just fine.
