Won't start warm like a dead battery
I recently rebuilt my 07 rxp with a 05 block. I'm using a clb16 or whatever from a 2 stroke, does it with different batteries. Do you think it because the size is to small, but it fires right up at first, had to sit a while and it fired up, do you think it has to do with that. I used that same battery before I rebuilt it but only had it out 3 times so it could of done it then but not sure, as I probably let it sit for a while. It did fire up after I ran it for a bit then tried starting it up right away that worked but once it seems to sit for a minute I have to wait 40+ minutes.
Is the motor harder to turn when it's warm like it has more compression or does it sounds like a ground or something else.....

the right size battery has about 100+ more CCA. Do they make a rebuild kit for the starters cant find any on ebay

Maybe try it with the right-sized battery before looking into other things.

I think the Positive cable on the starter was slightly loose, Works fine now with the small battery, Gonna buy a bigger one next season
