Galveston to Lake Charles
I joined the BAPWA group back in May and immediately got excited about the "Casino Run" they had planned for the Labor Day weekend. That day finally came and it was nothing short of an awesome trip.
We all met up at Stingaree's Marina around 8:30 and began launching our bikes. 9am safety meeting, finalized loading and pushed off. We took a short beer/piss break around mile 30 and a 6-7' giant lizard surfaced in the canal we were in to check us out...he left once he realized there were more of us then of him . We continued on stopping at Peggy's on the Bayou for lunch. A quick bite to eat, refuel and on to Lake Charles. We arrived in LC around 5pm covering 123 miles.
9am safety meeting, loaded some more water and beer, top off of ice, and push off. Cool sights were Lauberg de Lac, Isle of Capri and moss covered trees along the bayou. We rode back bayous all day covering 113 miles.
9am Safety meeting, pack ski's with personal belongings and head west back to Texas. Again, a few beach stops, lunch, refuel in Port Arthur and back to Stingaree's by 4pm. We were all bumbed the fun was over.
Total mileage for the trip was 330

Great pix and trip. Any GPS data by chance?

The only GPS data I have is what one of our riders sent me. Doubt this is much help...

Sounds good to me, I have more pictures if needed and I can add in better detail if you are planning on posting the ride in the PWCtrailfinder website. I will also be working this weekend on putting together a video of the ride since I brought my Go Pro.
Do you know Ron Rushing? That is who I got the GPS info off of. I have his original files he sent to me and just opened them up with google earth.

Yes sir it is. Ron & Robin Rushing. Wonderful folks!
Thank you for the website Gator, I had originally found pwctrailfinder online and then found BAPWA though the website. We have had countless hours of fun with that group and more to come.
I will let you know once the video is up and will post a few more pictures.
