    Honing Nikasil

I have searched to no avail, but my question is simple.

    Can nikasil be honed?
    Should it be Honed?
    With What?

The most important question is why do you want too and how far do u think you want to hone it out,

as the Nikasil coating IS NOT very thick , so to deglaze a bore is ok

but to remove scratch's is NOT as once you bust threw or make it so thin it will start to flake then its game over for your engine

When sending it in to Millennium, do I need to send the piston for them to size it with?

I remember either US Chrome or Millennium said they like to have a piston to size to.

Has anyone ever sent their cylinders in?
    What was the procedure?

I usually like to send them the piston with the cylinder, but I have sent it before without and they took care of it. They also can sell you pistons

Do you send a new piston or the original one? Given that the piston is undamaged.
