I'm wondering if any type of scoop or top loader intake grate will ever be needed with this ski. The stock grate doesn't seem to have any problem unhooking, even in rough water. So far the ski can't reach speeds where overloading the intake area may be a concern. I think the aftermarket grates might only slow the ski town on top.

The top grate in the photo might be an improvement over stock.

This same guy has posted a couple times about the new grates, but no actual test results.

    How about some testing results?

I can't give test results because I don't have any. It's not my stuff. Chris Mac could probably help you out though, as I think he works with these guys.

    Enjoy...

mrracings posts are far and few between, he's not real talkative but they are usually very insightful posts.
