From the lake to the sea....

In the lake with the 81mm ring and added pitch i ran 8500rpm @81.5mph.

I went to the sea and RPM drop to 8200rpm. 300 rpm difference.

If I depitch the prop accordingly to the back the rpm, will 81+ possible with less pitch and the 81mm ring?
    Thanks
    Hector

My Rxp is 2 mph slower in salt water , just use a 83or84 mm ring to bring your rpms back up.

Yep, i would recommend putting the larger rings in as well. You don't want to keep pitching your prop back and forth.

Salt water is much denser than fresh water so it's probably harder for the pump to process the water.

Someday you guys will learn the overall value of the wetwolf AAT. Especially if you ride salt and fresh all the time!

I have an extra 15/19r, so I am going to tune for the 81mm at 8500 and see what speeds I get.
