    2008 FX SHO Engine Fault

Hey guys i am new to the forum, I have a 2008 Yamaha Fx SHO supercharged and the engine is shaking a lot , and no power is given. I was on the river yesterday and it started with that problem, I accelerated it and just reved up a little and barely moved. I turned it on and off a couple of times and it seemed to get better. this is not the only time it has happen. When i was flushing the engine it also began to shake in a weird way. any idea what it could be?

sounds like you may have banged up a impeller, or fouled a plug, check your impeller, if it looks ok, then maybe toss a set of plugs into it

Have you visually inspected the pump & impeller yet?

Agreed. Check the impeller and pump area. Sounds like something may be stuck in there or the impeller may be damaged.

Lfr6a is what you need if your plugs are bad.

Also here is a link to my Dropbox page to download the manual. But you might have other issues. Hold the button on the dash for 5-10 seconds while it's running to check for codes, if it's reading 01 then you need to check your pump housing/ impeller or plugs. A bad injector, faulty tps, throttle body and quite a few other things can cause this issue, so start with the basics and hope for the best.
