Anyone live in Southern Cal that can teach me how to rebuild my carbs on 1200xl ltd

Just thought I would throw it out there.

I recently purchased a used 1200xl ltd and it doesn't idle very good and sometimes bogs down. It will get to wot though.

I am thinking the carbs need rebuilding but not sure on how to tackle this myself.

I am in the inland empire

With a little bit of patience, it's not hard at all. Just take apart, clean, and goes back together the same way. It takes more time taking them off.

If you have the time and some basic tools you can do this yourself. There is a lot of good information here on this forum. I was able to find instructions on stinger, exhaust chamber and carb removal from the webpage. He has step by step instructions with pictures which makes it easy for a first timer. Also, when I got stuck I would post my question here and got quite a bit of advice and instruction. If you decide to do it I can send you pictures and a parts list of what you need to make a pop off gauge.
