    gas cap and p0326 09 gtx 155

While riding this past weekend I took my 09 GTX 155 up to around 6900 rpm and the p0326 code came on. Since then I have found out its the knock sensor code and as some suggested was planning on draining the fuel and starting fresh. When I went to take the cap off I heard a release of air like the cap was not vented. I dont see how this could cause the code but was wondering what other people might say. The cap looks different than the one on my 08 rxt and 06 gtx is this even the correct cap? Now I'm wondering if I have 2 problems a bad cap and the knock sensor problem. I havent had a chance to take it to the lake and test with the cap off.
    Thanks

Some years the cap is vented and others there is a second check valve for venting. The tank should hold 3-5 psi..

IMO you have a problem with the sensor/wiring
if you have bad gas it should not throw a error code
the ecu will just change the timing with bad gas

Thanks after finally finding the knock sensor it looks like corrosion is under the intake so Im thinnking about pulling the intake and cleaning the knock sensor and when I do that I will check the connection. Do yall think that corossion between knock sensor and block could cause this problem?
    Thanks

Ok ordered a new knock sensor but have a question about intake gaskets. The manual I looked at made it sound like as long as the gaskets looked good they can be reused. Any thoughts on this? Should they always be replace?

True, as long as the gaskets look OK they can be reused. They are a good quality silicone so they rarely go bad.
