    06 RXP Recomendations

    Hey,

I've decided to keep my 06 RXP for another season. I was considering a newer machine, but I love the look and feel of this one. 180 hours, new supercharger installed about 50 hours ago.

Other than the supercharger rebuild, any recommendations on maintenance? I've only had it one season (60hrs) all I've done is the charger, oil change, plugs and the battery.

Maybe I'm being a bit paranoid and 180 hours isn't as much as I picture it, but I want to change the supercharger impeller and a few other bolt ons for next season and don't want any engine issues.

how does it launch? Any cavitation?

.... Carbon seal replacement, Wear Ring, VTS boot, oil up your steering cable, ... just a few things I have experienced.

9 lb wheel,4 inch air, shorty water box ,pump wedge ,intake grate and impeller will get you to 75 mph with stock ecu & stock Injectors.
Almost forgot the external inner cooler..

I've seen 06 rxp skis with 400+ hard ASS hours and still running strong.
These mods also keep you very reliable.

Everything but the water box was on my wish list for next season. I'll look into that as well.

New SEADOO X Charger & the 50 Lb injectors will Really Wake that SKI UP!!!!!!!! You would be Surprised how dependable it remains & it and pulls Hard thru all RPM Ranges. best 1300.00 you can spend & all Parts are new...... i would run a Compression check to check the condition of the engine balance from cyl to cyl & Consider a new wear Ring..
