    04 RXP not running right

I took my 04 RXP out for about 10~15 mins. today and it just wasnt running right... got up to about 6000 RPMS or less and about 45-50 mph. Any ideas on what could be wrong? I replaced the washers and put Jerry's metal washers in over the winter. Put red loctite on the s/c shaft nut. I did everything instructions told me to... It has gas in it from last summer. I could hear the supercharger whine when it was running. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

sounds like the spring washers are bad or the nut isnt correctly torqued.

Dude! Run the OLD gas out of there, and see what happens. I have the same problem EVERY TIME I head out w/ old gas - don't use STABIL, or other fuel conditioners. If gas has been sitting for more than 3 months in the tank, guaranteed the ski runs like crap ( never goes over 6200 RPM, never faster than 45 mph). Then suddenly, she surges a little - and finally runs like a raped ape.

    Just my $0.02.

never had a prob with old gas as long as you put fuel stabilizer.when storing or for a long period of time.

Top off with fresh gas and change your spark plugs.

should you try to leave your tank as low as possible when storing or is that not a good idea?
