GP1200r Rebuild in the Philippines
Hi there im starting a rebuild project on my GP1200r 01 wave runner.
i know nothing about pwc but willing to learn and take advice.
from what i can tell at the moment looking at the engin
two spark plugs a stuck/snapped off in the head.
middle piston head is pitted/damaged
crank sharft is seized up
cant remove the crank shaft bolt extraction might be needed.
ill post more vids as issues come up.

Hey mate I just did mine. I did a full rebuild crank and all. Carbs are all done aswell. It was a fun experience.
Just a tip make sure you rebuild the carbs and change the needle and seat aswell.

Also if the crankshaft is seized you will
Need a new crankshaft it's quite simple too rebuild though hardest part is trying not too snap bolts.
You will need too buy a top end rebuild kit and a bottom end gasket kit. Possibly new pistons and rings aswell

That piece is called a stato. What have you got the carbs in? Pull all the carbs down and rebuild them buy a rebuild kit and 1.5mm needle and seat for the carbs. Suggest you run it premix instead of oil injected. I have mine at premix. She is ready too put the motor in. If the middle piston is stuck get some one too machine it for you and buy an oversized piston or get it nickel played or re sleeved. Suggest you down load a gp1200r manual of the Internet it will help you alot
Power valve clips you should get these aswell
