It might be good for the industry, but think about all the newbies and untrained users it will attract.
I can see families have them and every friend visiting riding them.

yep, im sure it will attract alot of people that probably shouldnt be on a ski. But hey, if they are non boosted, and 5K new, that means a lightly used one would be a cheap 2500 bucks. im game with that all day long

I'm wondering if it would have swayed me from my decision to get the pair of FX HOs. I did my research here on this forum, and it appeared to be the correct skis for us. And considering that one of my purposes was to go to the Bahamas on them, I don't think the Spark would have changed my mind.

So this has been a rough, expensive learning experience for me that could have been a lot cheaper with a Spark. But I don't think I would have been comfortable going to the Bahamas with such a small fuel tank. Also, I brought so much stuff that I didn't even have enough storage space in the Yamaha.

That being said, it looks like the Spark can be even more fun just from being able to throw it around so easily! So even though I already have the Yammies, I may have to eventually get one or two of these...

I like it...just hope its as nimble as the 96XP. I may trade my 06RXP on it...well may be not but if this would have been out when I was making a choice i would have gone with the Spark. They could have chose a better name for it. sounds kinda like Hybrid/electric car
