2000 Kawasaki 1100 STX DI PTO Removal
Couple of questions about removing an PTO.
1) Normal threads or reverse?
2) Any risk of damaging mounts or hull when removing when in the hull?

As I recall it is standard RH thread. Easiest way to double check is it comes off opposite the way the engine rotates. You cant get to the PTO to remove it with the engine still bolted to the mounts. You will have to slide the engine forward to separate it from the driveshaft.
