    Question Catch can filter?

Anybody know the part# for the filter that comes with the Riva catch cans? I am pretty sure it is a K&N.

K&N loves to put logos on its stuff (just like Riva does ). Based in my research, I believe the filter is actually made by S&B. See this post, which includes a link to the filter:

I think I found the one last night. Where the breather clamps to the can is 1". (thanks WFO) So I don't think the one in your link will work.

The overpriced Riva kit doesn't even come with a K&N filter. It comes with a shitty Chinese filter.... and the chrome top disappears in your hull after the first ride

    lol.
As soon as I can fish what is left of mine out my hull I will measure it to be sure, but I think that K&N is the right size.

This this one must be it - it has a 1" ID. I'll update that older post with the right link.

However, if you're replacing, then you're better off just getting a K&N or a Spectre. I like the Spectre stainless steel mesh ones, like in my DIY Catch Can blog post:

    Here's the part on Amazon:

However, that's not a 1" base like you need. Maybe Spectre makes a 1" ID one?

    Perfect replacement.
Ordered 2. They are the same size as what come with the Riva kit.

Sorry to revive this long dead thread. But someone with the riva catch can please chime in. Would a larger filter then the supplied one fit? like one that is a half inch bigger? Thanks in advance!
