    MPEM Swap?

I have an '05 RXT with a fuel gauge issue.. The warning beeper sounds frequently when the ski changes pitch in the water.. The computer is losing the input from the sending unit..Riva told me they troubleshot the issue and it is the MPEM board.. its fried at the fuel probe input ..

My question .. Im thinking of buying a used board .. anybody know what year and model MPEM boards would work with my ski?

Also.. Riva said it would be plug and play.. No BUDS hook up to calibrate or sync.. That sound right?

The key is stored to the MPEM, if you buy a new (used) one make sure you get the key, otherwise should be a remove and replace simple procedure.

So are all 4tecs the same? Would an 06' GTI board work in the 05 RXT?

Correct the 4-Tec keys are in the ECU. The MPEM is just a fuse block with other features.

interested..what do you want for it?

now this is assuming I understand beerdarts statement on compatibility. are all 03-06 the same for all size engines?...I was pretty sure each engine had it's own ecu map.

Need one for an 06 that has a flooding injector. w/key if possible

The Mpem's are the same not the ecu's the ecu controls the injectors and has the key stored in it. I don't have a ECU.

Ok.. Finally got around to swapping the MPEM in my 05' RXT.. original problem was fuel gauge.. now that seems to be fixed.. however I have a fault now ..P1592 "VTS Voltage High"

I assume this is because I have no VTS on this ski.. so my question is.. Can the dealer flash the system to remove this error code?
