    Spark supercharger kit. Enough interest?

    I've been looking at building a supercharger kit for the new spark and was curious what the demand would be for one. The price would be between $2,500 and $3,000. I have just about everything planned out as far as what components and mounting, or as much as I can without a ski in front of me. What I want to know is how many of you guys would be seriously interested in buying a $2500-$3000 reliable low boost supercharger kit for the 2014 spark? I obviously won't hold you to your word but I am gauging interest as I know I cans do it but R&D adds up quick so I need to know that there is at least a slight demand for something of this nature.

    I'm estimating a 50hp increase. The kit could be set up for more boost; however, there is not a lot of data currently stating how much boost the 900 ace can handle so it would be kept low and reliable for now. The kit would easily handle more, the engine is the top variable at the moment.

    Thats 3/5 the cost of the ski not to mention additional mods needed beside just bolting on SC. Engines comp ratio is 11:1 for starters.

    I'm guessing that's going to be a very hard sell due to the total price of the ski is 5k .
    3k for a charger, I don't see that going over too well..

    I do not believe you can build a kit that cheap
    a 11+:1 motor is not boost friendly
    you can bet the stock injectors will not support much boost
    water and a belt drive sc are a bad mix
    and IMO 5psi still be more than pump fuel can take
    with out timing mods

    The price to cost ratio is the largest problem and the kit would really only be marketable to those who want a lightweight performance ski and bought the spark with the intentions of modding it out. I'm here to get criticism so keep it coming.

    I'm putting in a down payment for a Spark tomorrow. For me this is just a cheap, low maintenance ticket out on the water. One of my favorite things about it is that it doesn't have an SC to worry about. I want more water time and less worries...

    AFTER the warranty expires, I might accidentally put my mod-happy fingers on it, but until then, nope.
    The kit sounds interesting, but I'd prefer a tiny turbo WITH an ecu map included with the kit.
