RXT-X 260 comparison
What would be a good competitor from Yamaha against the RXT-X 260?

I've had both.
Rxtx is by far better.
Tx turns like its on rails and the FZS fzr tend to slide in Sharp turns.
Tx has the hole shot by a little bit and has top speed (stock) by 1 mph.
Tx stops way better
Tx handles rough water better.

My neighbour has the 2013 fx sho that would be the closest to the rxtx, 2014 even better

Both are great skis. Especially if we are talking about the 2014 FZS.
Wotxxxsd pretty much hit all the spots.
Recreational riding level the top machines from all the companies are going to perform very similar to each other. Seadoo's IBR systems is a blessing for any recreational rider. So slick having the reverse right on the bars. You feel very confident from day one around tight spots or docking. So much less fiddling around compared to say Yamaha.

I haven't had a fx sho so I couldn't compare but I think you're right the fx has a bigger hull than the FZS fzr.

I like the handling of the 2013 fx sho, can't wait to ride the new 2014 model , will be huge competitor to the tx as they bring the same hp to the table
