Adding intercooler to GTX 185
How hard is this to do? Instructions anyone? Other parts needed?

Not to hard if you go thru hull exhaust.
If you leave OEM exhaust you will need to remove the resonaotor and be creative with piping around the intercooler.

Think I might just leave it then, unless the performance gains are huge.

If your 185 ecu and charger you want see huge gains.
I put a ic on the 185 setup and gained low end power and few Rpms.
If you plan to up the boost or run 215 ecu then it would be needed.

I assume you guys are talking external intercooler ?
Would an internal 215 cooler in the intake be worth the trouble ?

I have a 2008 RXT-X stock external IC with stock bracket inside my wife's 05 GTX, with resonator. Water source is the OPAS supply and exit and pisser drilled out unused ports on pump shoe.
OPAS is blocked up with Riva kit.
Much better acceleration and throttle response. Performance numbers in signature.

Hmmmm... JPT is your boat hitting 66.5 consistently or just a once time thing? I might go threw with a few things this winter.
