If the parts are good and you need them..
Then its a good deal.
If the parts are no good then its worth its weight in scrap metal... That's it...

The HSR S4 uses a 2nd gen Weber block... not exactly the same... same as Polaris FST sleds.
Hard to see in the tiny pics... but looks to be just the long block... no turbo-manifold, no intake, etc.
Strong bet it has nicasil failure... thus a bad block. Block is useless without sleeving or re-plating... which is $700-800.
Head has some value if it's not warped.
Honestly... if you don't need it or want a spare (I'd buy it for that)... I wouldn't waste your time on it.
Have you seen how many parted out MSX 110/150 there are on ebay? Way more supply than demand. And the asking prices are ridiculous... which is why they rarely sell and are always there.

ripcuda. I think you are correct. Can't tell if the block is any good from the pics provided. Pricing started at $250 a month ago. I was looking to turn a profit to fund my current Polaris project a 95 750 SLT. But, doesn't look like it's worth the risk.

Now I can see it better... it doesn't even have a head on it. Just a likely bad block and a valve cover. It does have a few sensors (knock, cam phase, crank position) and a starter... but definitely not worth $100.
