    Ricky stator

Any of you guys have any experiences with Ricky Stator? I looked into jetski solutions for a stator rebuild and just the cost of the harness is 200 bucks.

    Link to Ricky Stator

What harness cost $200? Just the cable between electrical box and stator?

Which stator were you inquiring about? Fuji or domestic engine?

Well, it would be nice if they spelled Fuji correctly

    What is the 'Ricky' connection?

Polaris FUGI engine harness replacement only
No mention of coil rewinding, just replacement of the cable portion.

Im going to give both companies a call tomorrow. I'm hoping that jet ski solutions just has just mismarked. But who knows. As for Ricky, his prices seemed decent, and I just wanted to know if anyone has worked with him. Not sure if its better to have the stator rebuilt or go with a new SBT stator.

Ricky died in 2006. The company Simpkins Enterprises continues to operate.

When you speak with Jet Ski solutions, remind them to fix the spelling of Fuji on their stator web page

Will do! I also hope the 215 for the harness in a mistake, otherwise they can shove it!

Keep in mind that several (2 anyway) members have had previous issues with aftermarket Fugi stators. They were not purchased from SBT, but I am suspect that the SBT and the Ebay new aftermarket stators are manufactured by the same company.......

It would be useful to know if those aftermarket stators had any identifying marks, or if there was a manufacturer's name or code on the accompanying documentation.
